Review ||| Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Range

A 3 for 2 offer in Boots always draws me in and recently I've been more into trying to look after my hair more carefully. I've stepped away from the straighteners and I'm embracing my mad curls! I've been trying to find something that will strengthen my hair as each strand of my hair is really thin so it has a tendency to snap which doesn't help when I'm lusting for really long hair!

I've stopped to look at the Organix hair range for a while but for some reason never bought anything from them. I think it's because the shampoo and conditioner both retail at £6.99 which is the pricier end of drugstore products. It's not exactly a 2 for £6 Herbal Essences job is it?! Anyway, I took the plunge and decided to get the Coconut range purely because the words 'strength' and 'elasticity' drew me in and the smell is amazing! Like, it makes me want to taste it it smells so good. I picked up the shampoo, conditioner and the anti-breakage serum which was free with the 3 for 2 offer. Winner!

I've been using this range for about a month now and I really am loving it. The shampoo lathers really well and the organic coconut oils within both the shampoo and conditioner make my hair feel soft and manageable once I get out of the shower. I then use the anti-breakage serum on towel-dried hair which makes it so  much easier to run a wide-tooth comb through my hair and I've noticed my hair looks much smoother and less frizzy once I've applied it. All three products contain whipped egg white proteins which is the ingredient which helps add strength and elasticity. I love that this brand includes natural ingredients within their products instead of the often harsh chemicals and I would recommend buying these if you are looking to strengthen your hair or if you want a hair product which smells delicious!

This description is also on the shampoo and conditioner

The only slight negative I'd have to say is the serum is quite sticky but I dry my hair immediately after applying it so I don't notice it being sticky in my hair at all. I just notice it on my hands once I've applied it so that's just me being picky.

Let me know if you've tried anything from Organix! They have so many different ranges so I'd love to know if you recommend any!

Bargain Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner

I've said in a few of my blog posts now that I seriously love argan oil. It has to be one of my must-have products that my hair is truly grateful for! So when I came across an argan oil shampoo and conditioner for only £1 each which were recommended to me by a friend, I had to try them out. As every beauty addict will know, argan oil and moroccan oil is pricey so I was kinda skeptical about using these as I was adamant that they just won't be as good as the 'real' argan oil products out there. Truth be told, they aren't as good which is no surprise what with the extremely low price. BUT, I really enjoy using this shampoo and conditioner and find them to really make my hair soft and fly away free. Plus, the smell is gorgeous!

I bought these in Bodycare and I haven't seen them anywhere else but they are possibly in other low price drugstores which I just haven't been in. I do really recommend trying these out if you are a lover of argan oil and want to find a cheaper alternative. Of course, I still prefer Moroccan Oil products as nothing else works as well on my hair for keeping it nourished and in good condition. Like I always say though, I like to try out new things and obviously when an argan oil product is available for £1 I'm not gonna ignore it!

If anyone has tried this, let me know what you think!

KMS California - Worth the price?

Hello!
It is coming to that time of year in the UK where the weather is getting hotter and the Sun is finally making an appearance - yay! If you're anything like me though, the blasting rays can make your hair very dry and very frizzy so a hair savior product is essential to keep your locks in a healthy condition! Now I absolutely swear by the Moroccan Oil range as I've previously mentioned in an older post - despite the expensive price, I really think it's worth it as it makes my hair look/feel healthy, shiny, soft and in good condition. It's always nice to try out different products though so I've recently returned to a hair care range I used to use all the time which is KMS California. My hairdresser that I've gone to for years swears by these products and has sold them in his salon since I can remember so I have started using their Moisture Repair Shampoo, Silk Sheen Conditioner and Silk Sheen Leave-in Conditioner.

As I have curly hair where each strand is very fine, my hair can often get tangled and messy if I don't use a good hair product.  I've found that the Moisture Repair shampoo helps to keep my hair manageable and in a good condition and I can't even describe how soft my hair feels afterwards! On top of this, the smell is absolutely gorgeous and lingers on my hair too which is a bonus! After using this with the rinse-out Silk Sheen conditioner, I was able to run a comb through my hair with no trouble at all. It made my hair look healthy and shiny along with the leave-in conditioner which is very lightweight and doesn't feel sticky on your hair in the slightest.

On www.lookfantastic.com, you can purchase the big bottles of shampoo and conditioner at a price of £16.83 each which I think is a good price considering the size of the bottle (750ml). The leave-in conditioner can be purchased at a price of  £12.75 on www.feelunique.com for 150ml however I don't think the bottle is going to last very long for a person who uses the spray every day.*holds hand up*

Has anyone else used any KMS products? I'd love to know!

My All Time Favourite Shampoo and Conditioner...

Low and behold, hands-down the most amazing, beautifully scrumptious, life saving (well, hair saving) shampoo and conditioner of all time....... *drum roll*

MORROCAN OIL HYDRATING SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER
As a recovering straightening addict (addict level: 10/10) my hair is truly damaged. My hair was naturally very curly (I'm talking tight uncontrollable ringlets refusing to be tamed!) so in I went with the straighteners on a daily basis to try and calm things down a little. However, a year later and I have severely broken, damaged and dry hair. Yep, I'm crying inside. My hair is also apparently very distressed as it now refuses to be as curly as it was and instead is sort of limp and very dry. WELL DONE ME.
I've always loved the Moroccan Oil hair products; each strand of my hair is so thin and breakable that I really do need a good shampoo/conditioner to help nourish my hair and keep it healthy. After one wash and condition, my hair already feels softer, shinier and hopefully it will soon start to make my hair happy again after a few more uses. Welcome back into my life Moroccan oil, you have been missed!

What are your favourite shampoos and conditioners? I'd love to know!

P.s Apologies for the slightly missed orange M on the bottles in the picture above. I had a bit of a fight trying to get them out of the packaging!!
